Description of Seabrook Sunset

This is from a series of paintings I created of a great love….. Seabrook Island.

Seabrook has been in my blood for decades. Some of my best memories were created on this island with the love of my life, and our five dogs (now all gone).

We spent so many evenings with this sunset that I feel it belongs to us. Hidden amongst the layers of brushstrokes are my beloveds’ faces and in my heart these fiery memories.

Seabrook Sunset is currently included in a group exhibition, A Sense of Place, at the Gertrude Herbert Gallery in Augusta, Georgia through October 18, 2019.

Seabrook Sunset was previously included in my exhibition Resist and Preserve at Harbison Theatre at Midlands Tech in Irmo, South Carolina through June 10, 2019.

Seabrook Sunset previously exhibited during my solo exhibition Resist Division at Frame of Mind in West Columbia, South Carolina from December 7, 2018 through January 2019.

Available in limited edition prints.
